About

Oldham County is the richest county in all of Kentucky and, yet, there are people in our own back yards who go hungry every day. There are nearly 7,000 people in our county who are food insecure.  Kentucky has the 8th highest rate of food security across the country. Even though Oldham County has the lowest rate of food insecurity in the Commonwealth, we are surrounded by several counties who rank high on the list. Each month the Bread of Life Food Pantry  serves 800-1,000 people.
